Vista 64 windows home premium error code 0xC004E002 at login

Windows Genuine Disadvantage [Vista] - Mon, 29/02/2016 - 12:42am

I am getting  error code 0xC004E002. at login.. just after I enter my password. it gives this error and if you click ok it just cycles back to the login screen.

I get the same problem in safe mode.

My only way of getting to a command prompt is to use safe mode with command prompt.

Can I get any help..

Thank you.

wga failed validation

Windows Genuine Disadvantage [XP] - Wed, 17/02/2016 - 11:37pm

Hi. My name is Robert. i have a computer that had Vista on it and i took it to a local(now out of business) computer store for repair/virus removal.  they had "upgraded it to windows 7" but after about a month it started saying i may be a victim of software counterfeiting.   eventually i bought a new computer and got on with life. now i'm wondering if it is possible to upgrade to windows 10.  i have the recovery DVD from toshiba and a matching key for it on the bottom of the computer, but installing from the recovery disk never initializes the recovery process.

is there a way to start the windows 10 upgrade process?

trying to do it made me do the WGA tool, and it failed. the result is copy/pasted below.

good or bad news,  thank you in advance.

-Robert

Windows Genuine Disadvantage [XP] - Sat, 13/02/2016 - 8:47pm
My computer got reset to windows 7 and I now need to enter the product key for excel and word. My product key is a few years old and has an 0 or a zero. MS will not accept an 0 or a zero now.  What can I do. I can't afford to buy the Office product again

I was wondering why after owning two laptops for ten years Microsoft can just say out of the blue the Windows Vista is not genuine. Both were bought at Wal-Mart and have worked well until about two months ago. Microsoft has no cure I have found. Both of the product keys are worn off the back. I see Linux in my future.
